Our havo vwo junior is a two-year-old class in which you start at havo level and gradually work towards vwo level. That means you have extra time to show what's inside you. After the first year you do not have to make a final choice between Havo and Vwo. That space gives you peace. You can get used to high school, get to know new subjects and experience step by step where your talents lie. So you lay a solid foundation for the years that follow, without being immediately under pressure to capture a direction.

Every seventh grade has a mentor who gets to know you and your class well. In addition, you get support from minimentors: older students who know exactly how exciting that first school period can be. They help you during introductory days, study classes and other times in the school year. As a result, you not only have contact with teachers, but also with students who understand what you are experiencing from their own experience.

Also in daily practice you notice that we take our juniors seriously. You have your own place within the school, a separate break room and a safe where you can safely store your things and laptop. We work with laptops to support education, in combination with books. This way you learn in different ways and develop your skills that fit this time. At the same time, we consider overview and structure important. That's why we help you plan homework, use Magister and build study skills.
