What a day! During the Artistic Interlyceale 2026, organized by the Amsterdams Lyceum, the four oldest lycea of the Netherlands took it up against each other on a general basis in the fields of music, theatre, dance and visual art, and we came out as winner!
A day full of art and talent
Early in the morning we got on the bus towards Amsterdam with good courage. Upon arrival at the Amsterdams Lyceum there was a varied and impressive programme. On stage we performed performances with classical music, free music, cabaret, theatre and dance. At the same time, the whole school worked on live paintings and sculptures, transforming the entire school location into a vibrant and colourful art environment.
Results
After a day full of special achievements the long awaited moment followed: publication of the results. And yes, we were named winner of the Artistic Interlyceale 2026! A great reward for the enormous commitment, talent and dedication of all our students and supervisors. We are very proud of it!
More than a match
In addition to the mutual struggle, the day also offered plenty of room for meeting and connection. Our students came together with students from the other participating schools in their shared passion for art and culture and that made this day so much more than just a competition. It was a late but happy return: At 11:00 we drove back into Eindhoven, tired but satisfied.
Until next year
Next year it's our turn: Then we organize the Artistic Interlyceale and welcome the participating schools in Eindhoven. We're looking forward to it already!
