There are also nice extra activities for the sports enthusiasts among us. We have a beautiful artificial turf field, so that we can train well and put our students on the best performance!
If you prefer gaming, that was also thought of! A small group of enthusiastic gamers organise a LAN party twice a year. At night, about 45 participants come together to play their favorite games on their own equipment. For example, PC games, console games and even retro games are played until midnight.
Every year the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum organises with students on the second Friday of December Purple Friday. Purple Friday is important because it helps to show that everyone can be themselves, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. At the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum we consider it important that everyone feels safe and accepted at school. On this day many students and staff wear purple clothes and we lift the rainbow flag to show our support for LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) young people. We also pay extra attention to this important theme during the lessons.
