Topics covered by this chapter

Once every four years the school is visited by the Education Inspectorate. In 2023, the school was awarded the qualification "Goods." From the most recent report from 2018 we quote the following findings of the Education Inspectorate:

"We appreciate the quality of the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum. The educational process, learning outcomes and quality care go well beyond the quality requirements set by the inspection at each school. The Lorentz Casimir Lyceum shows convincingly that it has an offer that challenges students at their level, interest or need for support. In vocational classes, the emphasis is on acquiring knowledge that transcends the basic substance of havo and vwo. In the project education to which all pupils participate and in specific classes for high and more qualified students, students acquire higher learning skills and can deepen their knowledge. Teachers are skilled in dealing with the differences between pupils and this benefits students who need extra support, top talents and multi- and highly gifted. These students are professionally accompanied by the school support team. The learning outcomes are well above the norm. Parents, teachers and management have a common vision of education. They attach great importance to vocational education, high learning performance and the acquisition of 21st century skills. The management conducts a professional dialogue with parents and teachers on the risks related to change and involves the quality measures or expectations of each actor in the discussion. The professional culture of Lorentz Casimir Lyceum is characterized by high demands on each other, a preference for a gradual approach to change and a flexible response to change.

' THE EDUCATION PROCESS, LEARNING RESULTS AND QUALITY CARE SURVEYS THE QUALITY REQUIREMENTS WHICH ALLOWS TO EACH SCHOOL."
