De school houdt allerlei persoonsgegevens bij van ouders en leerlingen. De Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) schrijft voor dat de verwerking van de gegevens door de school op zorgvuldige wijze moet plaatsvinden en dat de verzamelde gegevens toereikend, relevant, juist en nauwkeurig moet zijn. Uiteraard geldt een geheimhoudingsplicht. Wij dragen er zorg voor dat alle gegevens goed zijn beveiligd. Desgewenst zijn de gegevens in te zien. Een bijzondere categorie betreft de opnamen die in het kader van professionalisering van docenten (in opleiding) worden gemaakt tijdens lessituaties. Het Lorentz Casimir Lyceum is een Trion-opleidingsschool voor docenten. Deze opnamen worden uitsluitend gebruikt voor nabespreking met de docent (in opleiding) en daarna vernietigd.
