Thanks to clear structure and personal guidance you notice that you are growing fast. You're not alone, because next to your mentor minimentors from higher education support you in and out of class.
What you learn in the havo seventh grade
In the havo junior class you follow a wide set of courses: languages, mathematics, human and social subjects, science, art and sport. You explore multiple domains before making choices. You get room to practice where you need to and you get extra challenge if you go faster. Teachers provide clear explanations, give feedback that you can use immediately and let you work more independently step by step.
You do projects where you connect to the real world. You process learning material in practical assignments, learn to formulate research questions and present your findings to your classroom. You notice that learning becomes more fun and meaningful when you apply theory in concrete situations. That's how you build a solid foundation for the rest of your high school career at Havo level.
