The Lorentz Casimir Lyceum has a team of student counselors with a background in psychology or (ortho) pedagogy. The student counsellors provide the extra support outside the class and can accompany students with problems in the executive functions or in the field of social emotional well-being. These problems are in principle directly or indirectly related to school and are often diverse in nature. Targets for apprenticeship guidance are formulated in consultation with parents and pupils and defined in a development perspective plan (OPP). The guidance is always temporary. If long-term or more specialised assistance is desirable, an external expert shall be sought in consultation with the parents.
