Supplements

A pupil who does not meet the transitional standards is eligible for discussion if by increasing one of the final figures by 1 point the transition standards would be met.

A student in 2 gymnasium who has been rejected for 3 gymnasium, can be promoted to 3 atheneum. The final figure for the class of classical languages does not count.

A student in 2 vwo who has been rejected for 3 vwo, can be promoted to 3 havo. The meeting may also decide that parents and students may choose between promoting to the havo department or double in the vwo department.

If a student of the HAVO department wants to be promoted to the VWO department, the transitional meeting decides on admission. The parent (s)/carer (s) of the student concerned may make their wish known in writing to the annual layer coordinator.
