Principles
- The final figures on the report are based on the moving annual average and are rounded to whole figures.
- For each course on the schedule, a final figure or qualification (physical exercise only) is given.
- The final figures for the subjects do not count for the transition.
- Departments:
- Box Group I: Dutch, English, Latin, Greek, French, German, history, geography, economics, business economy, mathematics A, B or C, mathematics D, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, drawing, movement/sports/Society.
- Box group II: physical education
- Box III: social studies, CKV/design (not gymnasium), havopro (only for Havo if chosen)
The following criteria apply to promotion from 4 havo, 4 vwo and 5 vwo:
- All final figures of the subjects in group I are 6 or higher.
or
- One final figure of a subject in group I is a 5 and the other final figures of the subjects in group I are 6 or higher.
or
- The final figures for subjects in group I are 1 x 4 or 2 x 5 or 1 x 5 and 1 x 4 and the other final figures are 6 or higher and the average of all final figures for subjects in group I are at least 6.0. For subjects of Dutch, English and mathematics A, B or C, no more than one 5 may have been obtained as a final figure.
- The box in Box Group II shall be completed with .
- Courses in Group III do not provide compensation points.
Supplements
A pupil who does not meet the transitional standards is eligible for discussion if, by increasing one of the final figures by 1 point, the pupil would meet the transitional standards.
If a student wishes to switch from 4 vwo or 5 vwo to 5 havo, the transitional meeting decides on the admission. The parent (s)/carer (s) of the pupil (s) concerned may make their wish known in writing to the annual layer coordinator.
