For promotion from gymnasium bridge class to 2 gymnasium apply the following criteria:
A pupil who does not meet the transitional standards is eligible for discussion if, by increasing one of the final figures by 1 point, the pupil would meet the transitional standards.
If a student wants to be promoted to the VWO department from the Havo Bridge Class, the transitional meeting decides on admission. The parent (s)/carer (s) of the student concerned may make their wish known in writing to the annual layer coordinator.
A student in the gymnasium bridge class who has been rejected for 2 gymnasium can be promoted to 2 atheneum. The final figure for the Latin box does not count.
In the case of a student not automatically promoted, the transitional meeting shall take a decision after discussion.
Only in exceptional circumstances is a duplication of the bridge year allowed. Students and parents should contact the annual layer coordinator early if they wish to consider this possibility.
